The Chinese Export Policy Is Changed
19 June 2007
Declared by the Ministry of Finance of China, the returned rate of VAT for export of chemicals
is reduced from 13% (for Fine Chemicals) to be 5% for the shipments since 01 July 2007
which is 8% lower, so our costs will be 8% higher since then.
Hence, we will have to change our prices then. In our General Conditions of Sale (please
refer to http://www.onichem.com/files/Sales_Conditions.pdf), we have stated that we have the
right to change our prices for such case, however, you also have the right to accept them or to
cancel the orders.
